My name is Mária Lomnická.
I am a ceramic artist who, out of love for the craft, worked her way up to running her own business. I received my professional training directly at the Keramika Ľubietová company, where I not only studied but also worked. During this time, I focused intensely on wheel-throwing and honed my skills under the guidance of experienced masters of traditional craftsmanship.
I specialize in hand-thrown pottery – a traditional technique that demands precision, sensitivity, and years of practice. Thanks to this, each of my pieces carries a unique signature and the soul of the craft.
I create original ceramic pieces that combine quality, artisanal integrity, and aesthetics. Each item is the result of my dedication, attention to detail, and respect for tradition.
A Piece of History
Ľubietová ceramics has deep roots reaching back to the first half of the 17th century. In 1651, a potters’ guild was established in Ľubietová, a testament to the developed and respected craft in the region. After the decline of medieval mining, pottery became an important part of the local culture and economy.
A major milestone was the revival of ceramic production in 1947, initiated by folk art experts and representatives of then state institutions. Their goal was to build on the rich tradition and preserve the craft techniques for future generations. It was in this spirit that Keramika Ľubietová was founded – a company that became a center of artistic production and training of new ceramists – among whom I had the honor to be.

Our products are certified and tested in an accredited laboratory, ensuring their safety and health compliance. They meet all applicable food contact standards and are suitable for everyday use.
How to Care for Ceramics
If you decide to wash the products in a dishwasher, I recommend using a short cycle with a lower temperature and leaving some space between the pieces to avoid mechanical damage. This way, the ceramics will retain their beauty and color.
Your privacy is important to us. In the Lomnická app, we only process data necessary for delivering your order or sending important notifications. Registration is not required.
What data we process:
• Delivery address – name and address you enter when placing an order.
• Email address – if you contact us or request an order confirmation.
• Device identifier and FCM token – anonymously, for receiving push notifications (e.g., about new products or events where we sell).
How we use the data:
• To process and deliver your order.
• To respond to your questions (if you contact us via email).
• To send push notifications using Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), if enabled – for example about new products or markets (e.g., fairs).
Who has access to the data:
• Only the app operator (seller), solely for order fulfillment and customer communication.
• Data is not shared with third parties, except for delivery (e.g., postal service or courier if used).
How long we store the data:
• Order data only during processing and the legal complaint period.
• FCM tokens are stored anonymously and used only for sending notifications.
Your rights:
• You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion.
